Hated of the Nation
I have just finished watching Hated in the Nation, an episode of the excellent Black Mirror series. As with all the other episodes I've seen this one entertains while at the same time provokes thoughts as it reflects dystopian near and far futures by taking current technology and social practices to feasible outcomes.
Science fiction at it's best. If you haven't taken a look at this series yet, jump in. The first episode is a very challenging way to start the series and I'm sure won't be to everyone's taste, nor is it reflective of the style of the rest. Wikipedia's viewer numbers on the list of Black Mirror episodes reflect that it may have put a lot of people off the initial 3-episode run.
I always find it exciting when science fiction challenges my thinking.
