This is an entry relating to [[David]]'s [[Denmark 88]] diary.

Today was the big day. Karna and Vagn's 25th. We were at their house a few minutes before 7 (in the morning). At 7 o'clock they came through their front door and stood under their honour wreath. The three of us (Harriet, Jørgen and myself) accompanied by about 85 others started singing. When we had finished two songs we were invited in for breakfast. 90 people can fill a house fairly easily, especially when they are all eating breakfast. At 9 o'clock most of the guests had left after some more songs and a good breakfast. Some of us stayed to wash up.

I was one of them. It took about an hour and 25 tea-towels just to get the dishes done. When the cleaning crews had left I stayed, had lunch, slept in the new garden chairs (a present from the club, did some more cleaning up, played soccer with Bjarne and left at 4 o'clock with Hanne for Flemming's graduation party.

A party is a party, so there is no real need to describe what happened. I did however meet a guy called Mark. He belongs to the only Y's Men's club in England. The club is called Kingswood. Mark and I became friends almost instantly.

Just after tea Mark left because he had to meet a friend in one of the clubs. It was decided that we would join him later. By the time we arrived he was drunk but not unconscious. I arrived home on the last bus.
