This is an entry relating to [[David]]'s [[Denmark 88]] diary.

It was the last day of skiing today. For some of us anyway. I need a day to relax. Karen and I left early but not before we had skied down the slope I had mucked up on the first day. I did well and went down without a worry.

On the way home Karen and I started talking about some of the problems associated with being a YEEP student. I think we both needed someone to talk to. Talking to each other we knew nobody was going to be offended so it didn't matter what we said. We talked for three hours and while we talked there was a snow-fight going on outside. Larger than yesterday's. I didn't know it was on but if I had I would have stayed exactly where I was.

There was a special meal on at 9 p.m. You could buy such things as hamburgers or pizzas. I had a banana-split. It was really nice. First one I've ever had.

Reflections

Reflections about this day made on July 30, 2007.

  • I still count going down the difficult slope without error one of my achievements. It demonstrated just how far I had come during the week after starting out as a rank beginner.
