August 31, 1988From buch@nI was sitting quietly on the bus this morning when it decided to break down. That meant we all had to walk to catch the next bus. I tried to find my Physics class but they were nowhere in sight. I later found out we didn't have Physics at all. Thankfully the rest of the day wasn't as bad as the start. A daughter of one of the club members (Anne-Mette) had a party because she had just finished an apprenticeship in cosmetics. We were there. This entry was written on the page of February 02, 1988. This little piece that I'm writing now is being written on the 31st of August. The last day of Summer. That is pretty strange when you consider tomorrow has a forecast top of 25°C. Anyway I'm writing here to both fill up space and time. I'm sitting at school during a free with nothing to do. Since it is the last day of Summer I'll talk about the weather. This summer has been pretty warm. The average must be almost spot-on 20°C. Most of the time it's been clear but there is always a haze in the air. This can spoil the scenery but it makes for beautiful sunsets. I haven't felt really hot more than a few times. I keep getting told that it is very hot and hotter than the same temperature in Australia. I agree with the temp because 20°C here means shorts. In Australia it doesn't. However it has never got to more than the equivalent of 30°C. This seems to have filled the page so I'll leave it at that. ReflectionsReflections about this day made on July 26, 2007.
