Day #3 of our Scotland tour — Craobh Haven to Fort William. Couldn't really see Kilchurn Castle due to the rain so decided a trip into the Cruachan hydro power plant would be a better idea. Deep underground (a mile or so) they create power. The interesting thing is that for each hour of power, it takes one and a quarter hours to pump the water back to the reservoir. On the way to Fort William we then drove through Glen Coe which is widely regarded as Scotland's best piece of scenery. Of course, it was raining but that just added to the mystique. Many of the mountain peaks rise 1km up (none of that foothill rubbish). Heilan' coos spotted for the first time.
