April 15, 1988From buch@nHad English as my first class today. Hanne insists on pulling it apart, so much so that it is almost a complete breakdown of even the sentences. Myself and most of the others in the class are getting really annoyed with it. We had five questions that were really obvious. This was really annoying. I then had a free in which I started a letter to Martine. In PE they almost convinced me to play soccer but it was too cold so I played badminton instead. The teacher said he had meant to congratulate me about my learning to dance so quickly for Skolefest. I thought that was very nice of him and said it was probably due to bush dancing. I almost finished Martine's letter before music. In music we sang the song we are singing in the school concert and then some Beatles songs. It was good fun. I went for a bike ride when I got home. I wanted to know how long it takes me to get to school because next week I am riding. After I got to school I rode out to Keseler's to see if the knew about Mette's acceptance as a YEEP. They didn't. We rang Mette at her boarding school and told her. She was one happy girl. I knew before them due to the letter from Mum earlier in the day. Walking Rolf in the woods today was good because it is finally starting to get green. There are little white wildflowers everywhere and it look really good. All the trees have buds on them so it won't belong before it is all green. |
